I’m beginning my (probably long) journey from unknown writer to bestselling author, so of course I am creating this blog to showcase my writing and professional stance, and use it in the future as a timeline to see how far I’ve come. With that said, and since I’m fairly sure no one is going to read this, I’m going to have some fun.

Let’s start with a little about me. I enjoy writing Science Fiction and Fantasy. I hope to have my first book out in the world no later than 2020. I plan to at least a new flash fiction piece to the blog every week. I think you can learn about someone from looking at their bookshelf that from a long conversation. That said, the following are a few items that can be found on my bookshelf: several books/novellas by Neil Gaiman, David Mitchell, Tobias Wolff, John Marco, J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Raymond E. Feist, and most recently Patrick Rothfuss. I have a terrible (or terribly great) habit of buying books, several of which I still need to read, and am always up for a reading recommendation.

I’m an avid movie watcher. I also spend too much time playing video games. Time that should be spent working on my book (but sometimes I have to save Hyrule). I look forward to seeing what I can achieve. So if anyone actually reads this, my first post, I hope to hear from you in the future once you’ve read my book, even if you hate it, but I hope you like it.
